Showing you the way

Around the plate
A picture is worth a 1000 words, but a dish is worth a 1000 pictures (even without IG). Each dish we'll try has its own origin, spices, stories and national memories- explore how local cuisine was affected by immigrants from all over the world and taste history in the making!

Three (hundred) religions
The holy city is shaped by countless civilizations, that came and went, wanted to visit the city that was holy for them. Its not just three religions here, its more like three hundred, with all the different currents that are located in one small old city.

Street art and the city
From a run-down corner of Tel Aviv, Florentine blossomed into the hippest place to see and be seen in- and all because of art. See how art changes the world, and learn about the Israel not shown on the news- but only on walls.

The village that had three names
Hidden in the Jerusalem mountains lies the picturesque neighborhood of Ein Kerem. The name changed throughout its 4 thousand years of existence, each name tells a different story: from Biblical times, to the biggest Palestinian village of the area to an artist colony (with a great chocolate shop!)

Basically Jerusalem
Jerusalem 101, fast-paced, enjoyable and all you need to know when you just arrive to Jerusalem

Basically Jaffa
Jaffa 101, fast-paced, enjoyable and all you need to know when you just arrive to Jaffa- the seed from which Tel Aviv came to be.

Beyond the walls
Jerusalem is much more than the old city, so break out of the walls and discover the city that started 150 years ago and evolved beyond recognition.

Mountain of Olives
Where are the olive trees that the name suggests? And how come if this is the birthplace of Christianity, it is associated with the end of times in Islam and Judaism? What are those graves and how come Jesus came to this mountain in the first place?!

Custom made, tailored to fit
You want to see it all but have only one day? You wanna visit the desert and say "hi" to a Hyrax? Lets figure it out together!

The queens of Jerusalem
Sick of "history"? Walk with me through the "herstory" of Jerusalem: from the mothers of the bible, through the age of queens and mistresses that built and broke empires, to the modern women that continue to shape this city, this land and the world.

Hi, i'm Anna and i'll be your tour guide for today!
But before I start with history and legend, here's a bit about how I got here.
After completing my BS.C in Life Science and working for a year in BioTech I realized I need a more dynamic work environment. I went for a year of volunteering in Germany and fell in love with the field of non-formal education. The next years I spent teaching about Israel so making that my actual profession was the next natural step. After two years of the Israel Tour Guide licensing course, three exams, and a 1030km-long hike up and down the country, I'm finally ready to show people why this place is so incredible.
When I was in the second grade, I dreamt of moving to Jerusalem. Twenty years later, I became an expert of navigating the alleys, understanding the people and tasting the tastiest food that this magical and mysterious land has to offer.
